Installation Agreement & Warranty Compliance
To maintain the validity and approval of the parts and manufacturer warranty, the equipment must be installed by a licensed contractor. If not properly installed by a licensed professional, the warranty may be void. In the event of a part failure, the manufacturer may require an invoice or work order from the installation and installing contractor to process the warranty claim.
By purchasing this system, the customer acknowledges and agrees that the installation will be performed by a licensed contractor. This ensures compliance with manufacturer requirements and helps protect the warranty coverage.
WARRANTY FAQ
What Does "Manufacturer Warranty" Mean?
The Manufacturer Warranty is limited to 5 years upon installation by a licensed contractor, if unregistered. If you would like Frisco Heating and Cooling to register the equipment to extend the OEM warranty to 10 years, we will require the installation invoice, including the licensed contractor's license number and installation date. If a major component of your HVAC system fails within the warranty coverage period, the manufacturer will replace it at no cost to you, as long as the above steps have been taken.
Is Labor Covered?
Manufacturer warranties don't cover labor so we go a step further. Every system we install includes a 5-year labor guarantee from our licensed installation team. That means if any installation-related issues arise within five years, we'll make it right no surprise costs. You also have the option to purchase a 10-year labor plan for extended protection, giving you even more peace of mind and long-term confidence in your system.
How Do I Register My Equipment?
It’s easy! Simply follow the link above for the equipment you purchased and complete the steps to register it. If we installed the unit for you, there's no need to worry—we automatically register all systems we install. Check your paperwork for confirmation.
